Commission to design flooring for primary school reception and corridors. Three themes, three circles. Even small areas of design can animate and personalize a space especially extensive, impersonal areas of flooring - and it doesn't have to cost a lot.
Commission for the Royal Hospitals NHS Trust to design corridor & ward flooring for the Queen Elizabeth Children’s Unit at the Royal London Hospital Whitechapel. We worked closely with staff, children, the architect, project manager and lino cutters.
Give us back our Playground video made with young people. The video was then instrumental in a two year negotiation for the local school playground and setting up Saturday football in July 2012. A mosaic for a housing estate. Part of a series of projects on one estate over seven years which included making a mosaic.
ArtSpokes workshops Animals and other Creatures develops observation and drawing to encourage an empathy and respect for animals along with an understanding of where our food comes from. Wherever possible we combine these workshops with a visit to our local city farm.
Twelve permanent playground dividers, Malorees Infants School, London. ‘Exploring the Outdoors’ designed with sixty Year One children. Each panel is 1m sq., double sided and suspended between posts. They can be clipped open and removed easily creating a versatile space. The playground dividers link into an overall redesign of the playground by Groundwork UK.
